Beresford Research clients have a puzzle that needs solving. Often our clients are clear on what they want to learn but aren’t sure about how to get it. We frame the area of inquiry, know the right questions to ask, use the best sources, and then construct graphs and summaries that clearly communicate the information our clients need. Our relatively small size is an asset; you can easily reach an analyst or the head of the company to obtain immediate answers.
Our Process
Beresford Research often uses existing client data and complements it with proprietary research. This research can include custom surveys with hard to reach audiences, focus group discussions, executive interviews and the mining of publically available, but not readily accessible databases. When the tools or databases don’t exist, we create them for our clients.
For projects that include a survey, we collaborate with the client to construct and modify the questions to suit the audience. We work with client contact lists or a list provider/panel company to provide representative respondents for an online survey. Beresford Research works with several Web-based survey companies to match the degree of survey complexity with the best tool. When a printed survey is more appropriate, Beresford Research designs, prints and handles the survey distribution as well as the data entry.
Each step of the project, whether data analysis, survey, focus group, interview, is detailed in advance in Gantt charts that provide specific actions, responsibilities and timeframes. Our clients obtain the critical information they need when they expect it.
